Vegetation cover, vegetation
1) It is the type of vegetation and/or plant community that lives in any area or region and has distinctive features. The issue of what type of vegetation will be formed in a region and what its composition (the plant species that make it up) will be determined by the following factors: V = f (Cl, o, r, p, t...). (Abbreviations are Climate, Organisms, Earth parent material, Time, respectively). If the characteristics of these factors, called "vegetation formation factors", are known, the type of climactic vegetation that may occur in a region over time (and the order in which the succession phases before reaching the climax will follow) can be predicted in advance.
2) Communities of plants that grow naturally in a place. Such as forest, steppe, meadow, maquis. Plants need nutrients, water and temperature to grow. In terms of these features, the ambient conditions on earth show great differences. While there are very suitable features in some places, some places have extremely negative conditions. For this reason, there are very poor areas in terms of vegetation on the earth as well as extremely rich regions.
