 Mutation

1) It is an inheritable change that occurs in the inheritance elements of a living thing or a cell and is recognized by the physiological and morphological characteristics of the living being.

2) Change in the structure and amount of genetic material of an organism, structural change in genes and chromosomes. Mutation is caused by different combinations of genetics passed down from the individual's parents and external influences.  In the mutation, changes occur in the amount and structure of DNA of the chromosomes in the cells of the organism. The change in the structure of DNA molecules is called gene mutation, and changes in the amount of chromosomes are called chromosome mutations.
