Knitted live threshold (Wattle check dam)
They are established for the purpose of fortification of carvings on the base and sides. For this purpose, 1-1.5 m long and 6-15 cm diameter live tree piles are nailed perpendicular to the axis of the game at intervals of 30-50 cm and knitted with the use of living materials such as oak, willow, poplar, and the backs are filled with earth. At least 1/3 of the piles should be selected from the tree species that will give shoots.
