Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)
It is an organization of the United Nations that leads the activities in the fight against hunger, food, agriculture, forestry, fisheries and related issues and provides services in developing and developed countries for this purpose. FAO is an organization that creates a neutral forum for all countries to negotiate and develop policies and agreements together on equal terms, provides information, training and technical assistance and advice to countries, and contributes and supports (in the form of grants) in the preparation and implementation of projects for this purpose. As of August 1993, the European Union is a member of the FAO organization with 194 countries.
