Flood water retarding structure
A kind of small dam that alleviates high flows by storing floodwaters with a height of less than 15 m and a storage volume of less than 5,000,000 m³3 and adjusts flooding by spreading the flood current that occurs at a certain time to a longer circuit by releasing a planned amount of water below.
