Flood irrigation

 Flood irrigation

1) It is irrigation that is carried out in the form of water covering the field at a certain depth and staying here for a certain period of time, and the water does not remain in the land and make it a swamp. When the land becomes suitable for the growth of the product, the water is drained out. Normally, the moisture provided by such watering is sufficient in the entire growth process of the crop.

2) The method of irrigation applied in parcels prepared by building transverse earth-turning walls on normally dry water beds. The flood waters surrounded by the walls are sent by canals to the fields whose edges are raised.
