Carrying capacity

Examples of this are as follows:
(i) the number of wild (natural) animals that can be housed in a unit area in terms of feeding and housing conditions without disturbing the productivity and ecological balance of a living space;
(ii) the number of grazing animals which, according to the type of grazing animals and their food demand, the pasture in the unit area can normally accommodate;
(iii) the maximum agricultural yield that can be achieved by measures implemented without degradation of a site, and
(iv) the highest number of inhabitants in the unit of space of residential or recreational areas that can provide normal living conditions for people.
