Biogenetic reserves

(1) are protected areas set aside according to international criteria for the conservation of extinct or under-diversity species and species societies.

2) Ecosystems or specific parts of ecosystems whose protection is guaranteed by a legal status and which are characterized by one or more rare and endangered habitats.
