Biodiversity loss
Humans have had effects on biodiversity since they came to Earth and began hunting animals and gathering food and wood. Especially in the last two centuries, the increase in human population, overconsumption of natural resources and the destruction of the environment have caused very serious and ongoing reductions and degradation in global biodiversity. As a result of this situation, species are decreasing or disappearing in number, ecosystems are destroyed or destroyed.
