Agro-ecological zone
They are agricultural zones determined based on the combination of soil, land shape and climatic characteristics. The parameters used to determine the zones take into account in particular the climatic and edafical needs of the crops to be grown and the management systems. Each zone has a combination of constraints and potentials related to land use and is aimed at improving existing land use by increasing production or reducing land degradation.
