Humid

humid
The region covers the climate with an average annual rainfall of 500 mm in cool regions and an upper limit of 1500 mm in hot regions and covered with forest. The Black Sea coastal region and the equatorial regions, where rainfall is distributed throughout the year and there is no water deficit, but on the contrary, there is an excess of water, are examples of humid regions.

Humid refers to the presence of a high amount of moisture or water vapor in the air. It describes atmospheric conditions where the air feels damp or sticky due to elevated humidity levels. Humidity is usually measured as a percentage, called relative humidity, which indicates how much moisture the air holds compared to the maximum it can hold at a specific temperature.

Examples of "Humid":

  1. Humid Weather:

    • Common in tropical regions, especially during the rainy season.
    • Makes the air feel heavy and warm, often leading to sweating and discomfort.
  2. Humid Climate:

    • Regions with consistent high humidity, such as rainforests (e.g., the Amazon) or coastal areas.
    • Characterized by frequent rains, lush vegetation, and warm temperatures.
  3. High Humidity Indoors:

    • Can occur in poorly ventilated spaces, kitchens, or bathrooms.
    • May lead to condensation, mold growth, and a stuffy atmosphere.

Opposite of Humid:

  • Dry: Refers to low moisture in the air, typical of arid or desert climates.
